A MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRPERSON
THE LOUISA COUNTY COMMISSION ON AGING |
| The Louisa County Commission on Aging, comprised of members approved by
the Louisa County Board of Supervisors, is funded by county monies and
donations from individuals. The COA holds monthly meetings which are open to the public. Members discuss and try to assess the needs of the elderly in the community. Efforts are then made to provide services to meet these needs. The Commission on Aging feels that it is meeting some of these needs by working with the Jefferson Area Board for Aging in supporting the Louisa County Senior Center at Betty J. Queen Intergenerational Center, 522 Industrial Drive, Louisa. Here interesting programs and nutritious meals are provided to support the older adult population within the community. This publication grew out of our concern that many senior citizens didn't know of various services available to them. PRODUCED BY: COMMISSION ON AGING COMPILED BY: JABA |
